Happy Monday Shopping List for 2020

shopping 2020

Happy Monday, folks!

Hope your weekends were filled with fabulousness. Mine was pretty low-key. Did some shopping on Saturday and caught up on sleep on Sunday against my own will…lol.

I set out to get some protein treatments to help reinforce my transitioning hair, but wound up with some more items (you know how that goes). I got…

Moroccanoil Oil Treatment: This is like my 3rd or 4th bottle. I LOVE this stuff. Gives you great shine, helps speed up drying time, and smells so good. Go to moroccanoil.com for locations.

Aphogee Two Step Protein Treatment: A heavy protein treatment that helps to reduce breakage and helps to strengthen the hair. It smells terrible but works and is very necessary for transitioning hair like mine. Used only once every 6 weeks.

Aphogee ApHogee Intensive Two Minute Keratin Reconstructor: A light protein treatment that helps reduce split ends and breakage

Miss Jessie’s Creme de la Curl Cleansing Creme sample: I think more brands should have these cute little sample pouches of their products. I got this from a haircare store called Essentials in NY for $2.00. This is a no-lather sulfate-free shampoo that cleanses dry hair without stripping it of its oils. Can’t wait to try it out.

Miss Jessie’s Creme de la Creme Conditioning Creme sample: I haven’t tried this yet, but it’s a deep conditioning treatment that says it helps detangle the hair and allows you to retain growth by banishing dry and brittle strands.

Proclaim Argan Oil Intense Moisturizing Shampoo: I figured for $4.99 this was worth a try. Argan oil is an ingredient found in many of today’s hair products because it’s a great source of moisture and helps to repair and soften dry hair.

Crème of Nature Creme of Nature Argan Oil Intensive Conditioning Treatment: I wanted to try the new Argan Oil Creme of Nature line and figured this sample pack from Sally Beauty would be a great introduction. I haven’t tried it yet but it promises to strengthen, deeply infuse moisture, and prevent hair breakage.

Essie Fall 2010 Collection Little Brown Dress Nail Polish: I’ve always wanted a deep almost black, brown nail polish for the longest and finally Essie came out with one. My favorite part of fall/winter are all the vampy nail colors so this one will definitely be in heavy rotation.

Me and Sam Edelman will soon become BFFs as his super stylish yet not super expensive shoes will all slowly make their way into my home. I picked up these Sam Edelman “Vancouver” boots which have a really cool platform. I will basically wear them everywhere I go. Including showers.

Just for fun I picked up this pair of sunglasses from one of my favorite accessories sites Giant Vintage. Use code BOO at checkout now thru 10.31 for free shiping.

And since I pretty much adore June Ambrose and will be have re-constructive surgery to look just like here (I’m kidding—maybe), I went through her twitpics and decided I needed the animal print cardigan she’s wearing. I also need the longer cardigan she’s wearing over it, but I’ll save that for another weekend. Surprisingly, the sweater is from the St. John’s Bay line at JCPenney! I scored it for only $17.99 plus tax and shipping from the retailer’s website.

And that’s it for me. What did you guys do/buy this weekend?
